Steve's Back Update

As many know, Steve and James were in a car accident in December of 2003. Due to injuries sustained in the accident, Steve had a spinal fusion done in December of 2004. Well, this only made things worse! Steve has been unable to work since then. He is currently fighting with Social Security to get disability benefits. He needs the medical benefits to go to a new surgeon and hopefully get some relief. He has a hearing with a judge coming up in the new year, we will keep you posted. This is a picture of Steve's spinal x-rays. This is a fusion of the thoracic spine involving levels T4-T5, T5-T6, & T6-T7 (three levels). He always likes to show it to people, he thinks it looks pretty impressive.

Remembering Mark
On October 28, 2006 our cousin Mark Carl Ellis was tragically taken from us. He was only 22. He was a good man who touched the lives of so many. I will always remember him for taking the time to stop on his way home from a road trip to visit us. We spent a wonderful afternoon together with him and his fiance, Neesha. You will be missed. This is a picture of ( L to R) Steve's Aunt Laura, Mark's Grandmother, and her sister, Steve's Aunt Lana standing next to a picture of Mark.
Remembering Mark
Steve's cousin Chyrisa, Mark's mother, speaking at his service in Mesquite, Nevada. We were so glad we could be there to give and recieve emotional support as well as represent those of our family who could not attend. Chyrisa gave a beautiful eulogy. We love her so much, we will always be there for her.
