We have several miniature roses lining the walkway to the front door. We bought most of these in the local grocery store and stuck them in the ground. Some did fine, others did not like it so much. This is one of James' favorites. He liked it so much he bought another and put it opposite the first along the walk. The tag has been lost, so unfortunately I do not know the name.
