Well, I did it. My appeal before an Administrative Law Judge from the Social Security department is over. The hearing was held in San Bernardino, that's about 80 miles west of Barstow. I woke up early and left early. I made sure I arrived an hour before my lawyer wanted me there. The hearing was at 12:30, my lawyer wanted me there at 12:00, I arrived at 11:00! So early..... I worked myself up into a nervous frenzy. All for 10 minutes before the judge!My lawyer thinks it went well. I did the best I could; I was very nervous. Upon reflection, I could have answered some questions differently, but overall I think I did good. My lawyer said I should get a decision as soon as one to two months from now. I'll keep you informed.
